This original painting is inspired by a hike on the Inner Basin Trail outside of Flagstaff, AZ. The trail flows through a large aspen forest, which in the fall, has vibrant yellow leaves. I hiked this trail a little later in the season, after many of the leaves had fallen and coated the forest floor.
